It is now less than two weeks until the launch of Rainbow Six Siege on December 1st, but Ubisoft has not quite finished all their testing yet. They are now inviting anyone to participate in an open beta test on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One from November 25th through the 29th, and if you participated in the closed beta earlier this year then you can start playing on November 24th.
As before, the beta will only include a limited scope of the content in the full game, but Ubisoft has made sure to replace some of the elements we have already tested. This time we can choose between 14 different characters and three different game modes on three different maps. Two of the game modes focus on PvP, where the goal is to either take control of a marked room or to defuse a bomb. In the third game mode up to five players can work together against AI terrorists to disarm two bombs. Players can play both ranked and unranked matches, but all progress and leaderboards will be reset upon the end of the open beta.
