Rocket League Gets Some Hoops

By Jeffery Wright on 29/04/2024 21:52 UTC

Psyonix continues to listen to Rocket League fans as they have just prepared for a new update. Tuesday, April 26, players will be able to dive into the "Hoops" mode, where the playing field turns into a court. Don't worry, the Rocket League MVPs won't be retiring any time soon and the DLC will cost you nothing across Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The development team folllowed up with the massive response to the Snow Day update last year, and so they rode on the coattails of sports fanaticism by releasing this new update. The DLC features an NBA logo flag for all players, including a new arena named Dunk House and flags for 30 NBA teams.

Rocket League has been in the limelight ever since release because of eSports potential, and...fun. Take a gander at the video below if you haven't seen Hoops mode. If you haven't played Rocket League, we're sure your friends have. Pick up a copy soon as it's discounted on Steam.
