This Tuesday, CD Projekt Red provided their fans with an early Christmas present in the form of two screenshots from their upcoming expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The main game itself has so far won over 300 awards, including Game of the Year from The Game Awards.

The expansion itself has been named Blood and Wine, and is said to have 20 hours of brand new content to explore. It will also introduce an all new in-game region called Toussaint. It is this region, which is mostly known for it's wine, which is being showcased in these new screenshots revealed on CD Projekt Red's website.

Blood and Wine, the second expansion for The Witcher 3, is on the horizon. It’s a massive new land to explore, visually unlike anything you saw in Wild Hunt or Hearts of Stone, and it too is brimming with stories we want you to discover.

The CEO of CD Projekt Red, Adam Kinciski, has previously stated that not making another sequel to the Witcher would be unfair towards the fans. This was said to the Polish TV channel TVN24 BiS. So it's fair to assume that we can expect a lot more content from the developers in the time to come.
