By Stewart Marsh on 29/04/2024 21:52 UTC

Last night Senshudo threw together a lengthy podcast featuring myself (Stewart Marsh), Squallmuzza (Sam Murray), InnocentPeach, Syanarah and FloppyQuill. Lasting almost three hours long surrounding our's & chat’s predictions/hopes for this year’s E3 unveiling.

For those that missed our almost three-hour podcast and would like to watch it you can view it here on our Twitch Channel. However, for those that would like it a little more written in-depth and to be saved from rambles continue reading.

EA Press Conference – Sunday 12th June

  • BST: 9pm
  • CEST: 10pm
  • PDT: 1pm
  • EDT: 4pm

EA’s ditching its normal booth presence on the show floor this year for an off-site fan event in Los Angeles and London. While you can expect the typical sports orientated titles for half of its press conference, we can expect to see more around Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1 and Mass Effect Andromeda.

We’re likely to see some more Star Wars from EA’s line-up, most likely from Respawn’s newly announced action game, or maybe a first look at Visceral and Amy Hennig’s third-person adventure?

Bethesda Press Conference – Sunday 12th June

  • BST: 3.00am (Monday)
  • CEST: 4.00am (Monday)
  • PDT: 7.00pm (Sunday)
  • EDT: 10.00pm (Sunday)

Bethesda stepped up its E3 presence last year with a lengthy conference, while its set to return this year we feel that it might not beat last year’s awesome showcase. However, there is still some hope. While Dishonored 2 is set to release this year and more DLC on the way for Fallout 4 and DOOM. We’re holding out on the possibilities of Wolfenstein 2, Evil Within 2, Skyrim HD Remaster and the possible return of Prey 2? Or even the possibilities of a new IP.

Microsoft Press Conference – Monday 13th June

  • BST: 5.30pm
  • CEST: 6.30pm
  • PDT: 9.30am
  • EDT: 12.30pm

While Sony has had a better launch than Microsoft when it came down to its new generation of consoles and no one will ever let down the moment Don Mattrick tried to take the Xbox down the TV/Film approach. With Phil Spencer at the helm we can see Xbox is now dedicated more than ever to deliver what fans want and expect to come from Xbox. We can expect to see a slimline version with a refreshed controller announced during its conference. With more light being shed on future plans for the console. We can expect to see more news around Xbox and Windows 10 integrated marketing strategy and how the stores are finally being linked together. We’re expecting to see more from Halo Wars 2, Forza, Sea of Thieves, Gears of War 4 and possibly more Scalebound. We’re hoping to see more round ReCore, Dead Rising 4, State of Decay 2 and possibly some new IP’s along with more Indie@Xbox titles.

PC Gaming Show Conference – Monday 13th June

  • BST: 7:30pm
  • CEST: 8:30pm
  • PDT: 11.30am
  • EDT: 2:30pm

This year’s PC Gaming show will take place between Microsoft’s and Ubisoft’s Press conferences with the likes of Bohemia Interactive, Relic and Ark: Survival Evolved’s Studio Wildcard attending. We can expect to see more surrounding Dawn of War 3 and DayZ. What we would like to see is possible reveals around new hardware beneficial to gamers, such as GPU’s & CPU’s. One huge gap in the E3 range of conferences is a real tech focus, so a move towards that for this newcomer would be great.

Ubisoft Press Conference – Monday 13th June

  • BST: 9pm
  • CEST: 10pm
  • PDT: 1pm
  • EDT: 4pm

While Ubisoft has in recent years gotten a lot of criticism for the way they present games at their conference, often due to games being massively downgraded (“Ubisoftened” as YouTubers have coined) Watch Dogs is famously known for this. However, we’re hoping that Ubisoft has learned from this and we’ll start to see less of this. We’re expected to see more around Watch Dogs 2, For Honor, Ghost Recon Wildlands. It’s unlikely we’ll see the next Assassins Creed, however we’re sure they’ll showcase more of the upcoming Assassins Creed movie. We’ll possibly see Rabbid’s VR, and upcoming DLC for Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Sony Press Conference – Tuesday 14th June

  • BST: 2am (Tuesday)
  • CEST: 3am (Tuesday)
  • PDT: 6pm (Monday)
  • EDT: 9pm (Monday)

After so many leaks of its existence Sony will address the upcoming PlayStation 4K (PS4.5 as its dubbed). We’re hoping that the games will do the majority of the talking for this unveil. PlayStation VR will be the centre focus of this year’s conference with its upcoming October launch. We’re expecting to see more from The Last Guardian, No Man’s Sky, Dreams and Horizon: Zero Dawn. Perhaps Naughty Dog will show a glimpse of The Last of Us 2?

Nintendo Press Conference – Tuesday 14th June

  • BST: 5pm
  • CEST: 6pm
  • PDT: 9am
  • EDT: 12pm

And finally Nintendo’s conference a place where you can expect to see lots around Legend of Zelda on WiiU and lots of Pokemon. Nintendo has put the brakes on the rumour mill that it will unveil the NX this year. Which in our opinion is hugely not only disappointing but also a bit odd considering how big E3 is. We’re not expecting much else to be showcased from Nintendo Conference.
