What a long, strange road its been to get here, eh? Its almost hard to believe this is actually happening but it is indeed true, not only does Shenmue 3 have a release date, it has a shiny new trailer to boot!
After a delay to 2019 was announced earlier this year, the Kickstarter page where the game was funded roared back to life this morning with a brand new trailer and news of a release date. The game will release on PC and Playstation 4 August 27th, 2019.
You can view the trailer below, which gives a look at the game featuring Ling Shenhua and series protagonist Ryo Hazuki.
To hold you over until next August, or if you want to dip into the originals for the first time, remastered versions of Shenmue 1 and 2 are now available for modern consoles!
