Senshudo TV went hands-off with Focus Home Interactive's latest Sherlock Holmes title, "Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments" during a half hour live demo at E3 2014.

A series that started in the early 2000's, this 7th entry in the Sherlock Holmes series shakes up the gameplay that was so familiar to the previous titles. No longer do you simply follow Holmes while he solves cases and cracks down on bad guys in 19th Century London. You now play AS Sherlock Holmes and carry out investigations (6 total in the game. Each lasting 3-4 hours depending on your play style.)

Each case offers you a huge degree of freedom when it comes to the choices you can make not only in evidence gathering, but interrogation and other areas as well. Your choices have a direct impact on the outcome of the case and there are multiple "endings" for each case based on deductions you put together from the evidence you collect and interviews you conduct. There is also a "scoring" system built into the game so you can see how many players chose like you, and how many went a different direction with their logic.

The game launches in September on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3,
