Sony took to the stage at San Francisco's GDC (Game Developer Conference) this evening to announce what many had suspected; a VR (Virtual Reality) headset. Codenamed "Project Morpheus", the VR headset has been in development since 2010. Shown on stage with a God of War Demo, as well as the announcement that Crytek and Epic Games were developing for Morpheus.
Shuhei Yoshida said "If VR goes one step further from immersion to delivered presence...VR has been a dream of game creators, many at PlayStation."
