The headset would include a dedicated processor to work with the PS4's processor. Sony boasts the headset will have 1080p video as well as a 90 degree field of view. Sony has yet to say how much it costs, but many people think it will rival the Oculus Rift and cause a big competition between the two. With this new technology, this should allow game developers to make more atmospheric and immersive titles to the platform.
