With the recently confirmed 2nd year of content planned for Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, they've slowly begun to reveal what their plan is for content moving forward. One thing we didn't expect however, was a Splinter Cell/Ghost Recon crossover event that sounds intriguing to say the least.
While few details were revealed in the teaser trailer (shown below) we were able to pick up some information about the event from the dialogue in the trailer. It features Splinter Cell's title character, Sam Fisher, talking about heading to Bolivia, the setting of Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and his relationship with the Ghosts, the in game characters you play as. Michael Ironside also made his return in the video as Sam Fisher, marking the first time he's voice the character since Splinter Cell: Conviction.
We luckily won't have to wait long for more information on the event, as Ubisoft is planning a livestream Monday April 9th. We'll bring you all the latest from that live event as we get it.
