Almost a year from release, Star Wars Battlefront's planned season pass DLC is coming to an end. EA DICE revealed STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT - ROGUE ONE: SCARIF which will release across all platforms December 6th, 10 days before ROGUE ONE - A Star Wars Story releases.
In Rogue One: Scarif you'll battle across four new maps, including the sandy beaches of Scarif – an all-new tropical planet crawling with Imperials - which should look mighty familiar to anyone who saw the movie trailer. Know that incredible scene in the trailer where the AT-ACT is marching through the waves? That’s the one!
Joining the already playable hero classes are two new heroes: Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic along with a "new multi-stage game mode complete with ground and space combat." Also arriving on December 6th for Playstation VR is the Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission. This mission will put PSVR players in the cockpit of an X-Wing as they shoot and fly their way through a specially design mission.
Star Wars Battlefront - Ultimate Edition was also revealed. This new edition will contain the base game plus Season Pass for one low price. To help kick off the anniversary of Star Wars Battlefront, EA DICE have planned a weeklong celebration in game with all current DLC being free from November 17th to the 20th as well as new in game activities.
Its a fitting "end" for Star Wars Battlefront, as we look forward to hearing more details about Battlefront 2 in 2017 before its Holiday 2017 release.
Again, the final DLC for Star Wars Battlefront will release December 6th across all platforms for $14.99 or free for Season Pass holders.
