EA and DICE revealed today via the Star Wars website that Star Wars Battlefront II will be getting a new game mode as part of its Night on Endor update; Ewok Hunt.
The new mode will allow you to "play as Endor’s furry occupants and stalk Imperial invaders in the cover of night — or try to survive as a stormtrooper, fending off menacing Ewoks until evac arrives." It launches on April 18th on all platforms.
Ewoks will use Wisties, spears, and other abilities to take out stormtroopers and every fallen Imperial soldier will then respawn as an ewok. Once all of the Empire forces are defeated, the Ewoks win. Stormtroopers will have access to a blaster mounted flashlight to take the little furballs out of commission.
As stated above, Ewok Hunt comes as a part of the new Night on Endor update which also sees the return of Crystals to Star Wars Battlefront II. Crystals will only be used to purchase cosmetic items, including new items Endor Leia and Endor Han. More than 50 additional appearances will be added into the game for you to customize your characters to your hearts content.
Again, Night on Endor and the new mode Ewok Hunt arrive in Star Wars Battlefront II April 18th across all platforms.
