EA have announced that they will showcase multiplayer space combat during this years GamesCom. Even better, Senshudo favourites TwoAngryGamersTV will be taking part in the showcase.
The official EA blog revealed fans will be treated to a new trailer and live gameplay reveal of the new Starfighter Assault mode on August 21st at 12:30 PM ET, 5:30 PM UK.
During the event, EA will showcase Battlefront II's "new and improved" ship controls along with customization options and also delve into the new class-based system.
"Teams will face off in a swirling dogfight in the Fondor: Imperial Shipyard map, weaving around an Imperial Star Destroyer complete with speedy fighters, thundering bombers, distinct hero shops, and more."
All of this information comes ahead of the Star Wars Battlefront II Beta which will take place October 6-9 (October 4-9 if you pre-order). The beta has now been confirmed to feature both Galactic Assault and Starfighter Assault along with other game modes.
