We may have given The Game Awards undue attention, but everyone this side of the Atlantic knows where it's really at. The BAFTA Game Awards are almost upon us, and they're being livestreamed on Twitch.
Comedian Rufus Hound is taking the reins from Dara O'Briain, and will welcome the eclectic likes of Tim Schafer, Mike Bithell, Martin Hollis and Linford Christie to London's Tobacco Dock.
All the red carpet action will be available on BAFTA's Twitch channel from 5pm, with the ceremony itself kicking off at 7pm. Alien Isolation leads the nominations with six nods in categories recognising both UK and international talent.
Riva Taylor, known for her take on the Assassin's Creed theme and contributions to concert Video Games Live, will provide an original song to open proceedings. If you only watch awards ceremonies to bask in celebs' radiant glamour - and who doesn't - a bunch of soap stars are presenting awards too.
