After announcing that The Crew 2 (the sequel no one asked for?) was a thing a few weeks prior to E3, Ubisoft had a helluva lot to prove to make it seem like a sequel to the car game no one really played in the first place was warranted. They seem to be off to a grand start, unveiling the first gameplay and information for The Crew 2 during their E3 2017 press conference.
In The Crew® 2, celebrate the American Motorsports spirit as you explore and dominate the land, air, and sea of the United States in one of the most exhilarating open worlds ever created. With a wide variety of exotic cars, bikes, boats, and planes to choose from, experience the unbridled thrill and adrenaline-pumping excitement of competing across the entire USA as you test your skills in a wide range of driving disciplines.
The Crew 2 "captures the thrill of the American motorsports spirit..." a new car playground, called Motornation offers players a "huge, varied, action-packed, and beautiful playground built for motorsports throughout the entire US of A..." But they didn't stop there. The Crew 2 will allow players to take to the air and sea in plane and boat races as well, expanding on the racing mechanics of the previous title and bringing a whole new host of customization options along with them.
