The Division was something of a controversial success for Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment upon its release in 2016. It launched to great fanfare, only to die out quickly due to lack of a polished end game content. It took almost two years, but patch 1.8 released last year seemed to fix a lot of long standing problems the game had and brought a ton of players back with it. Fresh off the heels of that success, Ubisoft and Massive have announced The Division 2.
While details are scarce, we have been informed that the game will have its official unveiling at E3 2018 and will feature an updated version of the Snowdrop Engine that powered the original title.
The blog post also provided some details on how the rest of the year will be shaped for The Division, adding new content and events each month until at least September.
It sure is an exciting time to be a fan of The Division, and we'll bring you the latest as we get it!
