Tom Clancy's The Division is still 5 days from launch, and Ubisoft have already released a trailer detailing the DLC and release windows.
The announcement trailer detailed both free and paid expansion content for the game which launches March 8th.
On the free content side, players will be able to jump into daily and weekly missions and Dark Zone events on launch day. In April, the free update will include Incursions--basically The Division's version of raids--described as "squad based content that will...give you epic new weapons and gear." This free update will also add loot trading, which will allow players in the same squad to trade loot collected during co-op missions. Loot acquired during solo missions will still be non-tradeable.
May sees the next free update titled Conflict which brings new Dark Zone features as well as a new incursion into New York's Columbus Circle.
The three paid expansions were also detailed in the trailer. Underground will release first, in June, and sends players "to hunt enemies in the tunnels and subways that run under Manhattan." Survival, the second expansion, will release late summer and adds a horde mode style of gameplay, which will "challenge players to fight for as long as possible in a very hostile environment while gathering supplies and equipment."
Last Stand will arrive this winter and details were quite slim about this one, with Ubisoft saying only that it will "task players with a new and relentless threat."
The new trailer is below and with all of this information coming out just before release, we're really hoping that Ubisoft has pulled out all the stops for this one.
