Activision confirmed that the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of upcoming series revival, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 will not include any online features. If players wish to access those features, they will need an Xbox One or Playstation 4 copy of the game.
Activision didn't say why this was being done officially, but speculation is to drive sales of the current generation platforms VS last generation.
Recently announced, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 will take the series "back to its roots" but will also include all new power-ups and abilities in certain instances.
