UBISOFT Announces AIRMECH ARENA League Competition

Ubisoft and Carbon Games announced AirMech Arena and will host an AirMech Arena League competition that will begin on December 1st. Those who want to sign up can go to airmecharena.com and sign up.

The people who do signup will form teams of two. People can sign up with a friend and play in the tournament with them. Or if the player can’t find anyone to join them, they will be able to, either randomly or by choice, get a partner from a list of available players. The teams will compete in ranked 2v2 matches. The rounds will go as follows: four qualifying rounds that will have general qualifiers that will last two weeks. Then that will be followed by four days of playoffs. During the qualifying rounds the top eight ranked teams will head to the qualifier playoffs. The team that does the best in these qualifier playoffs will move on to the championships.

The championships will host the top four teams from the qualifier playoffs. Each of the places will be able to take home prizes that consists of game consoles, controllers and capture cards. The teams that do make it to the qualifying playoffs will receive prizes in-game.

AirMech Arena real-time strategy game, free to play on Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 system from Microsoft. Players take control of giant mechs that fight to capture and protect bases while building armies to take on enemies. As the players conquer different fortresses, they will unlock powerful units, pilots, items and AirMechs.
