Ubisoft San Francisco is about to get a heap of talent. Ubisoft revealed today that they have hired four Telltale Games veterans for the west coast based studio.
Adam Sarasohn, Nick Herman, Pierre Shorette, and Dennis Lenart have all been hired by Ubisoft to "expand its narrative creative pool..." according to a Ubisoft statement. (In other words, they're trying to make their stories great again!)
Lenart was the Creative Director for Minecraft: Story Mode and also oversaw the first season of Telltale's The Walking Dead: Season One while Herman was the first cinematic artist to work at the company. Sarashon worked as a producer at Telltale and helped ship Tales from the Borderlands. Shorette wrote for The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, and The Walking Dead: Season Two.
All in all, a pretty solid aquisition for Ubisoft to make. Perhaps this will help them create something different than what we've had from them the past few years. Only time will tell.
