Hammerfall Publishing revealed that two months after putting the Collector's Edition up for pre-order, Warhammer 40,000: Regicide will be available on Steam Early Access in the near future. "Fans get first taste of Regicide's cinematic turn-based strategy in single-player, multiplayer, and classic modes" they said in a statement.
After smashing records across multiple games, Regicide is a "fresh take on the Warhammer universe." It will be the first game in the series to mix the strategy style gameplay the series is known for with cinematic gameplay. It will be "...An original and brutal take on turn-based strategy...It (Regicide) fuses characters, abilities, and environments derived from the Warhammer 40,000 universe with traditional strategy and new action-heavy gameplay elements."
A trailer was released along with the news, which focuses on the more action-heavy moments of Regicide.
Priced at $14.99, the game is hopeful for a full launch sometime later this year. It looks to be another thrilling installment in the massively popular series and we will bring you the latest news as we get it!
