Warner Bros. Offers Refunds For Batman: Arkham Knight As Woes Continue

Warner Bros. and Rocksteady just can't catch a break. In early July, they pulled their final game in the Arkham series from sale across all PC retailers due to game crippling issues that affected a mass majority of users. The game was recently patched with a huge update and Warner Bros. thought their woes with the title were behind them...Oh were they wrong.

According to the majority of PC users, the game is still a broken hot mess. After the game was re-released on Steam last week, users still reported problems such as freezing and stuttering, unstable frame rates, and ongoing issues on Windows 7 machines that require users to restart their PC for it to function as normal. It sure is a frustrating experience for gamers all around and for Warner Bros. where the console versions of the game had no such problems and received high praise across the board.

"We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues...Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix."

The PC version of the game will still continue to be sold, despite this latest development. Given all of the roadblocks and issues that have been experienced by users thus far, its hard to imagine anyone dropping any significant amount of money on it any time soon which is quite sad because when the game runs as it should, it is a fantastic game. Here is hoping that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. can get these issues fixed soon, if at all so that users can enjoy the content as they intended them to all along.
