Batman is taking a break... On PC anyways. Warner Bros. announced today that it is suspending sales of the Rocksteady title on PC following mass criticism of the port.

We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards. Thank you to those players who have already given valuable feedback. We are continuously monitoring all threads posted, as well as any issus logged with our Customer Support.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, a full refund can be offered via Steam's refund policy or the retail location where you purchased your game. Green Man Gaming have also amended their refund policy for this particular title and are offering refunds as well.

This follows what can only be described as a disastrous launch on PC; with a 30FPS cap and frame rate/stuttering issues being only the tip of the iceberg, apparently. Texture popping, slow load times, and crashes have also been reported.

Its a trying time for Warner Bros. and Rocksteady. Their response has been swift, but only time will tell if the issues with the port will be resolved before PC gamers lose interest in the title all together

We will keep you updated on this story as we get more information.
