In a blog post, Major Nelson revealed a few interesting numbers reguarding Backwards Compatibility, specifically that over 210 million hours have been spent playing Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles since November of 2015. The top five most requested games for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility are (in order):

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops II
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

As of this writing, the only games that have been revealed to be upcoming are Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite. No further games have been announced but Xbox Boss Phil Spencer said that November is "going to be a great month for new additions."

Only time will tell, but we here at Senshudo cannot wait to see what else makes it on the list.
