Those that use XSplit may notice when they reinstall the software on another machine their stream details are still saved, saving you time from having to grab your stream key or recalibrating the settings for your internet. However as of last night all of various account details have been compromised.
Its now recommended that you go through change your Twitch Password and reset stream keys. However As of 12 hours ago when this compromise was discovered XSplit have disabled their password reset link to prevent account loss, with no clear ETA when you will be able to reset your XSplit password.
Update: XSplit have updated the situation to reassure us that no paypal or credit card information is stored on the same server as the XSplit account data is which is your name, password and stream keys.
While XSplit is encouraging its users to go update passwords, reset stream keys. We recommend that you do not enter these into XSplit until they have update the situtation again stating that you can change your password and the security breach has been resolved. Other wise you might have to do all the password and key resetting over again.
