What’s the fastest way to deliver large quantities of produce and other cargo across the land? Trains.

The developers of Farming Simulator 17, GIANTS Software have recently released a trailer that shows off how in-depth they’ve gone in their latest addition to the franchise with another gameplay trailer. The game, which is scheduled for a multiplatform release of October 25 has brought players exciting features that haven't been seen before. From the latest video, it’s clear that you’re now able to strap down harvested tree trunks to your trailer to give them extra protection against falling off.

The main part of the video shows that the new and huge environment, Goldcrest Valley, now has an exciting feature; trains. Travel along the tracks in the manually driven cargo trains to deliver produce quickly and efficiently. Both of the two main train lines meet at a central point of the map which grants the opportunity to transfer your goods from one train to another and deliver to different locations around the map.

Around the map, there are several areas that will allow players to stock, transfer and sell grains and wood harvests directly from the trains. There are silos and heavy-duty cranes ready for your use at saw mills.

Farming Simulator 17 will release on October 25 to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. There’s also a pretty hefty Collector's Edition too that you can purchase right now which includes a multitude of items such as an A2 poster, a miniature figure of a Massey Ferguson tractor, a lanyard, “The Art of Modding” book, and much more.
